Day 1
You will depart Arusha in the morning and head to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Once in the park, you will be able to enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive with a delicious lunch in the afternoon. In the early evening, after your game drive, you will exit the park and make your way to your campsite for dinner and your overnight. Tarangire National Park main attractions: Land of giants: Herds of giant elephants and massive baobab trees. Over 550 different bird species both migratory and permanent. Abundant biodiversity. Day 2
Depart Tarangire in the morning after a hearty breakfast and make your way to the famous Serengeti National Park. En route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you'll have a chance to see some views of Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the Serengeti's gate. After lunch, you will head out on an afternoon game drive for the chance to look for some of the wild game before sunset and some dinner at the campsite. Serengeti National Park's main attractions: Voted the best national park in Africa (2020) by the world travellers award. Home to the great wildebeest migration. Home to the famous grassland plains. Day 3
Today you will head out early for your morning game drive for a chance to witness a magnificent African sunrise in the bush. Head out after a cup of coffee and experience the wilderness and its magnificent creatures as they wake up among the dew-covered grasses. Later, you will head back to camp for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you will head out once more for another chance to explore the plains in search of African wildlife you have come to see as you exit the park. Make your way to your accommodation in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Main attractions of an early morning game drive: Best time to spot the animals and birds. Animals are more active than in the afternoon. It's the best chance of experiencing predators on a hunt. Day 4
After some breakfast, you will depart the campsite with a picnic lunch and descend into the amazing Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the magnificent world of diversity that lies within, surrounded by the imposing walls that encircle the reserve. It is possible to see all of Africa's Big Five within the crater among a vast array of other wildlife including hundreds of bird species. Enjoy a full day in the crater before departing for Arusha in the late afternoon. You will be at your hotel or lodge at around 6:30 pm for your dinner and your overnight stay. Ngorongoro Crater's main attractions: Visit the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on earth. Home to Africa's Big Five. Witness Maasai tribesmen living among wild animals. Day 5
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and transferred to the airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma. On arrival, you will be transferred to Ujiji village where you will visit Dr Livingstone's Memorial Center to get the history of the slave trade and the journeys and missionary activities of Dr David Livingstone. Then you will be transferred to Kibirizi Port for your boat to Gombe National Park where on arrival, you will be transferred to the lodge or Rest House for hot lunch before starting your evening gorilla or chimpanzee trek tour. Day 6
At 8:30 am, start chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Gombe became well known for the conservation project started by Jane Goodall, who first arrived in Gombe in 1960. Apart from gorilla or chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests, like velvet, Colobus monkeys, and baboons. Day 7
After breakfast, start gorilla or chimpanzee trekking in different valleys, walk in the forest and visit Mkenge waterfall. At 12:00 pm, you will be back for lunch. Day 8
