Day 2
We pick you up at your lodge and depart to encounter Africa’s wilderness at Tarangire National Park, with picnic lunches, for a 2- to 3-hour drive. Tarangire is home to Tanzania's largest population of African elephants. You will spend enough time on game drives throughout the day to ensure your satisfaction. Traverse stunning landscapes and encounter magnificent elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Amidst the wilderness, a delightful picnic lunch awaits. Accompanied by an expert guide, immerse yourself in the captivating sights and sounds of the African wilderness. While elephants take centre stage, Tarangire is home to a variety of other wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and various antelope species such as impalas and gazelles. After lunch, depart for a transfer game drive as you head to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Mid-range lodge located 1-2hr drive from Tarangire NP Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
Day 3
After enjoying breakfast at your lodge, begin your transfer game drive to the northern part of Serengeti National Park to witness the great wildebeest migration. The journey itself serves as a game drive, offering opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Your experienced guide will point out interesting sights and provide insights into the local ecosystem and animal behaviour. You have so much to look forward to during your visit to the Northern Serengeti, one of the most scenic and wildlife-rich regions of the park. This remote area is defined by rolling hills, open grasslands, light woodlands, and the iconic Mara River, creating the perfect setting for exceptional game viewing. Expect rewarding encounters with elephants and an abundance of big cats, including lions and leopards. Thanks to its remote location, safari routes in the Northern Serengeti are generally quieter, offering a more exclusive and unhurried wildlife experience amid truly spectacular landscapes. Luxury tented camp located inside Northern Serengeti NP All meals included All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
Day 4
Today is dedicated to a full-day game drive in Northern Serengeti, focusing on the Mara River ecosystem. This area is renowned for its dramatic great migration river crossings, where vast herds of wildebeest and zebras gather as they move between Tanzania and Kenya. With an early start, you’ll explore key wildlife corridors and riverbanks, maximising chances to witness crossings and predator activity. The region is also home to large prides of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and abundant plains game. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in the bush, allowing uninterrupted exploration throughout the day. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight under the Serengeti sky. Luxury tented camp located inside Northern Serengeti NP All meals included All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
Day 5
Begin the day with a relaxed morning game drive in Northern Serengeti, where the migration often pauses and spreads across open plains to graze on nutrient-rich grasses sustained by higher rainfall. This region offers a quieter, more exclusive safari experience, with fewer vehicles and excellent opportunities to observe resident predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas that thrive year-round. Northern Serengeti is also known for its strong leopard population along riverine trees and rocky outcrops, as well as ancient Nile crocodiles that dominate the waterways. After lunch, continue with a scenic en-route game drive toward Central Serengeti, passing through diverse landscapes rich in wildlife. Arrive in the Central plains in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight at your lodge. Luxury tented camp located inside Central Serengeti NP All meals included All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
Day 6
Begin the day with a morning game drive in Central Serengeti, the ecological heart of the park, where permanent water sources support wildlife year-round. This area is known for its high density of big cats, especially lions that have established long-term territories, offering exceptional predator sightings in the varied habitats of kopjes, plains, and river lines. Wildlife behaviour changes as landscapes transition, from open savannah to woodland corridors, often revealing the Big Five. After lunch, depart Serengeti and ascend toward the Ngorongoro Highlands, a scenic journey that few itineraries fully highlight. The drive passes through cooler climates, Maasai homelands, volcanic highlands, and fertile farmlands, offering a cultural and geographical contrast to the plains below. Arrive at your lodge by late afternoon for an overnight stay, enjoying crisp air, elevated views, and a peaceful atmosphere that naturally prepares you for the crater experience ahead. Mid-range lodge located in Karatu (Town) All meals included All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)
Day 7
Begin the day with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries. This vast volcanic caldera shelters a self-contained ecosystem where wildlife remains year-round, supported by permanent water sources and rich grazing grounds. The crater offers exceptional game viewing in a compact area, including large buffalo herds, elephants with impressive tusks, hippos, and one of the highest lion densities in Africa. It is among the few places where the critically endangered black rhino can be reliably spotted. Scenic lakes attract flamingos and diverse birdlife, while open plains and forested sections reveal contrasting habitats within a single drive. A picnic lunch is enjoyed on the crater floor before ascending in the afternoon and continuing the journey onward, concluding the safari with one of Tanzania’s most iconic and rewarding wildlife experiences. You will be dropped off at your lodge in Arusha. Mid-range lodge located in Arusha (City) All meals included All drinks (Except for spirits/liquor)

5.0/5First of all, I should have made the safari tour reservation a few months in advance. However, I did it in less than two weeks before my holiday. Thank you to Allan who were super responsive although my kids would like to alter the itinerary for the Maasai and the hot air ballon. The reservation went smoothly. The itinerary, route, accomodation, vehicle, food and drink was fantastic. Jephter, our driver, provided very good service. He was knowledgeable and experienced. He could manage to find all the big five. This tour was well worth it.

We had an unforgettable four-day safari through Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro with Nkollo Tours! Before the trip, we couldn’t have imagined how many animals and amazing places we would get to see. Our guide, Ringo, took really good care of us throughout the journey. We always felt safe and he took an extra step to make us confortable and happy. Thanks to him, we were able to see the Big Five—and so many other animals—often from very close! Thank you, Nkollo Tours and Ringo, for an unforgettable safari adventure. We’ll definitely recommend Nkollo Tours to all our friends! 😊

Unlike many agencies that drive around in Range Rovers all day to find spots first, Nkollo has a deep respect for nature and animals. Their service is Deluxe (tablecloth, metal cups for meals and not a quick camping trip...).

Let me start but saying NKOLLO TOURS IS TRULY AMAZING! I had booked a safari tour with a different company via my travel agent in the UK. When we arrived in Zanzibar, i wanted to check this company were coming for us and to my horror they let us down with a days notice!! We were so disappointed so I searched the internet and found Nkollo, read the reviews and reached out. Straight away, Allan (the owner of Nkollo) messaged me back and was very friendly and reassuring. He listened to what i wanted and advised on a better option than the one pre-booked from the UK. His advice was impeccable and his communication second to none. He managed to arrange it for us in 48 hours with a collection from our hotel in Zanzibar to the airport and then to Arusha - ALL SEAMLESS. We were met my our guide for the 2 days, Ringo. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Ringo was informative, catered to our needs and was keen to make our experience memorable. We visited Tarangire national park on day 1 and Ngorogoro crater on the 2nd day. By day 2, we still hadn't seen lions so Ringo was determined to find them...we found them straight! All in, we saw lion, lionesses, cubs, hyenas, elephants, zebra, wildebeests, impala, gazelle, hippo, flamingo, buffalo. We had a luxury lodge for the night between. Lunch was picnic style, all locally prepared, proper cutlery.....this trip was so memorable and literally a bucket list experience. Please use Nkollo tours, a local company with amazing guides, local knowledge, best experience ever!!
