Day 1
Windhoek Culture
You will arrive in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. After airport formalities, meet with the car rental representative for your vehicle handover and a quick briefing. Check into your hotel and take some time to relax after your journey. In the afternoon, visit the Namibia Craft Centre to browse local handmade goods and souvenirs. If time allows, explore the city a bit or enjoy a drink at a local café. For dinner, try Joe’s Beer House or The Stellenbosch Wine Bar for a taste of Namibian cuisine and hospitality. Drive to Damaraland
After an early breakfast, begin your journey north with a scenic 6 to 7-hour drive to Damaraland or Kaokoland. Along the way, enjoy Namibia’s dramatic landscapes - from open savannah to rugged mountains. You will arrive at your lodge in the afternoon. Check in, relax, and take in the stunning surroundings. Unwind by the pool or enjoy a sundowner while soaking up the remote beauty of the region. You will spend the night in Damaraland/Kaokoland. Today is dedicated to meaningful cultural experiences. Visit authentic Himba, Herero, and San communities to learn about Namibia’s rich cultural diversity. Engage with locals through storytelling, traditional crafts, fire-making, and cooking demonstrations. This is a rare opportunity to gain insight into ancient customs, daily life, and the spiritual traditions of these communities - shared respectfully and authentically. Drive to Etosha NP
Depart after breakfast for a 5 to 6-hour drive to Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Check into a luxury lodge inside or just outside the park, where comfort meets the wild. In the afternoon, head out on a guided game drive or sunset safari, offering your first chance to spot iconic wildlife like elephants, lions, giraffes, and rhinos at Etosha’s famous waterholes. Drive to Okonjima Nature Reserve

Quick action and exceptionally well organised
Due to unforeseen circumstances my original travels within Europe were cancelled. I decided I did not want to give up and stay at home during December holidays. I phoned Gazechase Travels very last minute and asked if they can save my vacation and organise a trip through Namibia. They did not disappoint at all. Within a day, I received a well thought-out itinerary with all activities, accommodation, the routes between locations on a map and a quote on this whole trip. They are fast-paced and assisted me quickly even though I called during the weekend. Arriving in Namibia we were picked up from the airport with a warm welcome from the founder who decided to greet us personally at the airport. It was nice to meet the person behind all the arrangements who saved my vacation. During the whole trip everything was well organized, they always answered the phone when I asked a question, they frequently checked in to ensure we were satisfied with the services. The accommodation booked is breathtaking and super relaxing. We got to see so many wild animals in Etosha. We went on safari rides and got to experience leopards, lions and all the wonderful animals. They also last minute arranged a cat feeding activity for us which was memorable. The sand dunes of Sossusvlei is a sight to remember. And so many more experiences I will remember. Namibia is really a bucket list place and I am so thankful to Gazechase Travels for saving my vacation and ensuring I could experience Namibia. Definitely a dream to remember.
