Tour step
You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Depart early in the morning for Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of the few remaining places on earth where wildlife still thrives in relatively undisturbed numbers reminiscent of Africa’s past. As the northern extension of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara is home to the spectacular seasonal migration of thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and their accompanying predators. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Luxury tented camp located inside Masai Mara NR Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lions, abundant resident wildlife, and is one of the few places where it is possible to see the Big Five during a single morning game drive. Some cheetahs are so accustomed to vehicles that they seek shade beneath them during the heat of the day, while others may even climb onto the roof for a better view of potential prey. For bird enthusiasts, nearly 500 species have been recorded, including 16 species of eagles, numerous hawks and falcons, six species of vultures, eight species of storks, four species of bustards—including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird—and nine species of sunbirds. Day 3
An early morning pick-up and drive takes you to Lake Nakuru National Park. Located across the equator, south of Lake Bogoria in the Great Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru is one of the region’s most famous lakes. Renowned worldwide for its flamingos, the alkaline lake is considered one of Africa’s natural wonders. It is also a protected rhino sanctuary, home to over 40 black rhinos and more than 60 white rhinos, though the flamingos remain its most iconic attraction. At times, nearly two million flamingos gather along the shoreline, forming a striking deep pink band around the lake. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. Day 4
An early morning drive takes you to Lake Naivasha, the highest and one of the most beautiful of the Rift Valley lakes. Situated at 1,910 metres (6,200 feet), the freshwater lake is fringed with dense papyrus reeds once used by ancient Egyptians to make paper. Kingfishers perch along the reeds while herons hide within them as they hunt for food. Lake Naivasha is a renowned birdwatching destination, with over 400 recorded species, and is also a popular weekend getaway for Nairobi residents who come to sail, water ski, and fish. The lake has no crocodiles due to its high altitude and cooler waters, but it is home to a population of hippos. Along its shores, vineyards contribute to Kenya’s emerging wine industry. Mid-range lodge located near Lake Naivasha (Naivasha) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
An early morning departure takes you to Amboseli National Park, where you check in at your accommodation and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Located south of Nairobi, Amboseli is largely made up of a dry, ancient lakebed and fragile grasslands, interspersed with patches of acacia woodland. In the southern region, small rocky volcanic hills add to the landscape’s character. Around the swamps of Ol Okenya, Ol Tukai, and Enkongo Narok, the vegetation becomes lush, featuring yellow-barked acacias and graceful phoenix palms. Luxury tented camp located less than 1hr drive from Amboseli NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
Rise early to enjoy clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds gather over the summit, with a packed lunch provided. After breakfast, you may opt for a visit to a Maasai village, where you will experience traditional singing and dancing that form part of their daily life and sacred rituals, as well as gain insight into their homes and social structure—a truly moving experience. Despite its changing environment, Amboseli National Park remains one of Africa’s best destinations for close-up elephant encounters. Protected from poaching, elephants feeding and bathing in the swamps are often the highlight of any safari. Luxury tented camp located less than 1hr drive from Amboseli NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 7
Depart by road for Tsavo West National Park, arriving in time for lunch followed by an optional afternoon or evening game drive. Tsavo West is the most visited section of Tsavo National Park and offers a variety of attractions beyond its wildlife. The most notable is the famous Mzima Springs, where up to 227.3 million litres of cool, crystal-clear water flow from the ground through porous volcanic rock. The water is believed to originate from the Chyulu Hills via an underground river system. Luxury tented camp located inside Tsavo West NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 8
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive with a packed lunch provided. Tsavo West offers several fascinating sites to explore, including the Roaring Rocks, named for the wind that rushes through them, with stunning panoramic views over Tsavo from a 98-metre rock face; similar views can be enjoyed from the Poacher’s Lookout. The volcanic Chaimu Crater, less than 200 years old and made of black cinder, is also worth visiting and can be climbed for those interested. The area is a good place to spot klipspringer, a small and agile antelope known locally as *mbuzi mawe* (mountain goat). In the southwestern corner of Tsavo West lies Lake Jipe, which straddles the Kenya–Tanzania border. Luxury tented camp located inside Tsavo West NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 9
