Day 1
After meeting your guide in Windhoek or at the airport, journey south through Namibia’s open landscapes toward the Kalahari Desert. Arrive in time for lunch and relaxation before your first desert experience. In the late afternoon, enjoy a guided sundowner nature drive on a private reserve near Kalahari Desert. Unlike the towering dunes of the Namib, the Kalahari is characterised by gently rolling red sand dunes covered in golden grass and acacia vegetation. The late afternoon light transforms the landscape into deep orange and red tones, creating excellent photography opportunities. Wildlife sightings may include oryx, springbok, giraffe, zebra, blue wildebeest, ostrich and smaller desert-adapted species becoming active toward sunset. End the drive atop a red dune with drinks and snacks while watching the African sunset over the vast Kalahari wilderness. Luxury lodge located in Kalahari Region All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
Today travel deeper into southern Namibia toward Fish River Canyon, experiencing some of the region’s most unique geological attractions along the way. Visit the famous Quiver Tree Forest, one of Namibia’s most iconic photography locations, where ancient Aloe dichotoma trees stand scattered across rocky hillsides. Continue to Giant’s Playground, a fascinating landscape of naturally balanced dolerite rock formations. Later, stop at the Mesosaurus Fossil Site where fossils dating back over 270 million years provide insight into the ancient supercontinent of Gondwanaland. The scenery changes dramatically throughout the journey — from flat Nama Karoo plains to rugged mountains and the lush irrigation fields around Naute Dam. Keep watch for wildlife such as springbok, oryx and giraffe along the route before arriving near Fish River Canyon for the evening. Mid-range lodge located at Fish River Canyon (|Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld TP) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
This morning explore the breathtaking Fish River Canyon, the second-largest canyon in the world and one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders. At sunrise, the canyon’s ancient rock layers glow in shades of purple, gold and orange as the morning light reveals the immense scale of this geological masterpiece. Viewpoints along the rim provide spectacular panoramic scenery and excellent photography opportunities. Wildlife adapted to this harsh desert environment includes Hartmann’s mountain zebra, springbok, oryx, klipspringer and chacma baboons, while birdlife may include Verreaux’s eagle and Pale Chanting Goshawk. After lunch and relaxation at the lodge, enjoy a guided sundowner drive in the private Gondwana Canyon Park Reserve. Explore rugged backcountry landscapes, dry riverbeds and granite hills before ending the day atop a scenic plateau with drinks and snacks overlooking the canyon landscapes at sunset. Mid-range lodge located at Fish River Canyon (|Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld TP) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
Leaving the canyon region behind, continue westward across vast desert plains and dramatic mountain passes toward Namibia’s Atlantic coast. One of today’s highlights is searching for the legendary Namib Desert wild horses near Aus. These free-roaming horses have survived generations in one of the harshest desert environments on earth. The late-afternoon light creates exceptional conditions for photography as the horses move across the gravel plains against a backdrop of dunes and mountains. Continue through rugged desert scenery to the historic coastal town of Lüderitz, famous for German colonial architecture, Atlantic Ocean views and fresh seafood. Guests may enjoy an evening stroll through town or sample local delicacies such as oysters, crayfish and fresh seafood specialties. Mid-range hotel located in Lüderitz (Town) Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 5
This morning explore the hauntingly beautiful Kolmanskop Ghost Town, one of Namibia’s most photographed attractions. Once a thriving diamond mining settlement, the abandoned buildings are now slowly being reclaimed by desert sands, creating extraordinary photographic scenes. Continue to Diaz Point, where a replica cross commemorates the Portuguese explorer Bartolomeu Dias who reached this coastline in 1488. The rugged Atlantic coastline, seabirds and dramatic ocean scenery make this a rewarding stop. Later, travel inland to Aus, located at the meeting point of three major ecological regions: the Succulent Karoo, Namib Desert and Nama Karoo. The changing scenery and peaceful desert atmosphere make this a perfect overnight stop before continuing north. Mid-range lodge located near Aus (Town) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 6
Today’s drive is one of Namibia’s most scenic desert journeys as you travel north toward Sossusvlei. Pass through vast open plains, isolated mountain ranges and remote desert settlements while experiencing the immense scale and silence of southern Namibia. A lunch stop at Betta provides a relaxing break in this remote region. The journey continues alongside the spectacular NamibRand Nature Reserve, where golden grasslands, volcanic hills and the first deep-red dunes of the Namib Desert begin to dominate the landscape. Wildlife such as oryx and springbok are often seen along the route. Arrive near Sossusvlei in the afternoon, perfectly positioned for the iconic desert exploration ahead. Mid-range lodge located near Sossusvlei (Sand Dunes) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 7
Enter Namib-Naukluft National Park at sunrise to experience the world-famous dunes of Sossusvlei in the best light of the day. Visit Dune 45 before continuing deeper into the dune field toward Deadvlei, one of Namibia’s most iconic landscapes. Surrounded by towering red dunes including Big Daddy, the white clay pan and ancient blackened camelthorn trees create extraordinary photographic opportunities. Explore Sossusvlei itself before enjoying a relaxed desert breakfast surrounded by the dunes. In the afternoon, visit Sesriem Canyon, a narrow canyon carved over millions of years by the Tsauchab River. Walking between the canyon walls offers a completely different perspective from Fish River Canyon, with beautiful rock formations, shaded passages and occasional water pools illuminated by the late-afternoon light. Mid-range lodge located near Sossusvlei (Sand Dunes) All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Prev, always charming and ensured we enjoyed our entire trip.
Sandy Colliss · Australia
Prev booked exceptional tours and locations, and lodgings. He took care of all of our needs. He communicated with us through What’s app. This was a great value for the cost.
Judy & Dan · United States
The suggested itinerary matched perfectly with our preferences. All accommodations were carefully chosen and according to our budget. Everything was very well planned and well communicated in advance (driving times, facilities, activities) and there was still room to profit from last minute opportunities. Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable about animals, birds and the country. He was always in a good mood and eager to satisfy our requests and questions. PEA Tours has always been quick to respond when planning the tour. Our Namibian Grand Tour was a wonderful experience and highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore Namibia.
