Description of the excursion: Île aux Nattes in one day. Île aux Nattes is a small island of 3 square kilometers of surface area in the southern part of Sainte-Marie Island. The beautiful vegetation of palm trees and coconut trees, surrounded by turquoise water and beautiful white sand beaches, makes this island magnificent and heavenly. Île aux Nattes remains an interesting destination for people looking for a calm, relaxing, and authentic place with various activities to do. Enjoy your day. What to do on the island of Nattes? Nosy boraha or Sainte Marie
Explore the region: If you like to go on an adventure, nothing is stopping you from getting on a motorbike to crisscross the trails connecting the villages and local resorts. If you prefer to take a more leisurely pace, why not tour the island on foot? The ride can be done in half a day. This will be an opportunity to discover the village of Agniribe. Nestled in the centre of the island, it is characterised by its typical huts and vast rice fields. Lush tropical vegetation is revealed along the island's small trails. Coconut trees, mango trees, raffias, pandanus, and even some varieties of rare and endemic orchids abound on the island. You can also go hiking to the old Blevec lighthouse, which stands in the south-east of the island. Among the must-see stops to make is the "White House". This building overlooks the island and offers a breathtaking 360° view. Its rooftop terrace is the ideal vantage point to admire the landscape, the panorama of the lighthouse, and the setting sun. Hikers must consume on-site or pay an entrance fee. For dining, you'll head to the restaurants of the hotels and resorts on the island. The Lucky Dube Pizza Bar is ideal for enjoying a pizza or fresh seafood dishes. Otherwise, several inexpensive restaurants await you in the village in the center of the island.
