Arrival in Addis Ababa
On the first day, we will meet you at the arrivals terminal of Addis Ababa Bole International Airport to begin the start of your safari. Your driver-guide will be transferring you to the reserved hotel. With the presentations over, we will take you to the hotel in Addis Ababa. Day 2
Addis Ababa - Arba Minch
Upon arrival, we'll pick you up from the airport and drive to Dorze Village, located in the highlands of Arba Minch. Dorze is famous for its tall beehive-like houses, made from bamboo canes and banana plant leaves. Here, you'll enjoy a guided tour of the town and learn what daily life is like for its inhabitants. Finally, we'll let you relax until the next day at Hotel Paradise Lodge. Day 3
Arba Minch - Arbore - Turmi
You'll enjoy a rich breakfast, before leaving Arba Minch behind and heading to Turmi. Along the way, you'll pass by the town of Weyto, home to the Tsemai tribe. At the end of the day, you'll arrive in Turmi, home to the Hamer tribes. Then, you'll relax at Buska Lodge in Turmi. Day 4
Turmi - Omorate - Turmi
On the fourth morning, you'll take a day trip to Ommorate to visit the Dassanech tribe. Once there, you'll cross the Omo River in a small boat and explore this town to learn about its deeply rooted traditions. Here, you'll learn what life is like on the shore of Lake Turkana, where they hunt crocodiles and fish every day. In the afternoon, you'll return to Turmi, where, if it's happening on this day, you can witness the famous Hamer tribal bull jumping. Your overnight stay will be at Buska Lodge. Turmi - Nyangaton - Turmi
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you will leave Turmi for the town of Kangatan. You will be driven by your driver-guide to explore this farming town! At the end of the day, you will return to Turmi to have an adequate rest for the next day at Buska Lodge. Day 6
Turmi - Kara - Turmi
Once you have finished breakfast, you will travel to the town of Kara, home to a small tribe of only 3,000 inhabitants. Upon arrival, we will tell you the history of this town on the western shore of the River Omo, discussing body paintings they use for beautification purposes. After spending time with the inhabitants of Kara, you will return to Buska Lodge. Jinka - Mursi - Jinka
On the 7th day, after an energizing breakfast, you will travel to the Mursi Tribe, located in Mago National Park. You will spend the whole morning spending time and experiences with the Mursi tribe. Then, you will travel to Jinka for lunch at your own expense. In the afternoon, after refreshments, you will drive to the village of Aari. Your overnight stay will be at Jinka Resort. Excellent tour guide!! Highly recommend to anyone traveling to Ethiopia to book some day tours with him. He is very knowledgeable with the history of Ethiopia and has a great rapport with the local museums and restaurants. When I return I'll definitely be booking a Lalibela tour.

Dan is a great guide, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. He organised a 10 day tour of Ethiopia for us. Arranging internal flights, hotels, driver's and other guides for us and he didn't want any money in advance, we just paid him cash on arrival which we thought was very trusting as we could have changed our mind leaving him out of pocket. We really enjoyed our tour he arranged and thought it was great value for money. Definitely recommend him.
