Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Morning: The adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi at approximately 7:30 AM. The four-hour drive to Amboseli takes travelers through scenic landscapes, with chances to see the rural countryside of Kenya. Mid-Morning: Upon arrival at Amboseli National Park, you'll check in at Amboseli Sopa Lodge and take some time to refresh before the afternoon activities. Lunch: A delicious meal is served at the lodge, featuring a variety of local and international dishes to energize you for the upcoming game drive. Afternoon Game Drive: At around 3:30 PM, the first game drive begins. This is an excellent time to spot Amboseli’s famous elephant herds, often seen against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Other animals, such as zebras, wildebeests, and predators like lions and cheetahs, may also be encountered. Evening: After the game drive, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation. Amboseli National Park to Nairobi
Early Morning Game Drive: The day starts with a sunrise game drive at 6:30 AM. This is a prime time for wildlife viewing, as animals are most active in the cool morning hours. You have another opportunity to capture stunning photos of wildlife and the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Breakfast: After the game drive, a hearty breakfast is served at the lodge, preparing you for the journey back. Optional: Before leaving Amboseli, you'll visit a nearby Maasai village. This experience allows travelers to learn about the Maasai people’s traditions, customs, and way of life. You can engage with the locals, witness traditional dances, and even purchase handmade crafts as souvenirs. Afternoon Arrival in Nairobi: The safari concludes with an arrival in Nairobi in the late afternoon, marking the end of an unforgettable two-day adventure in Amboseli. The Tour operator was diligent in how he handled us
Our trip to Hells Gates coutesy of Kriproto Safaris was marvelous. The tour guide ensured that all the requirements in terms of documents and suppliers were available even before the start of the journey. Not only did he ensure that we got on site early enough but also made sure we got to visit all the scenic places within reach though not part of the itinerary. We had games to play, swim and the meals were served on time. Call Kriproto Safaris for a great experience in East Africa.
