The journey starts with a morning pick-up from your Nairobi location, followed by a scenic drive to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and picturesque landscapes. You’ll arrive at Basecamp Masai Mara in time for a late lunch. Game Tracking in Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll spend the entire day exploring the Masai Mara, which is renowned for its incredible concentration of wildlife. You'll witness the famous Big Five and, if lucky, the action-packed moments of predators hunting prey. During the annual migration season (July–October), marvel at the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration across the Mara River. You'll enjoy a packed picnic lunch in the heart of the reserve, surrounded by stunning scenery. After breakfast, the adventure continues as you head to Maji Moto Maasai Cultural Camp, nestled in the scenic Loita Hills. Here, you’ll engage with the Maasai community and learn about their rich culture and traditions. Activities include guided nature walks with Maasai warriors, storytelling around the campfire, and traditional dance performances. Our trip to Hells Gates coutesy of Kriproto Safaris was marvelous. The tour guide ensured that all the requirements in terms of documents and suppliers were available even before the start of the journey. Not only did he ensure that we got on site early enough but also made sure we got to visit all the scenic places within reach though not part of the itinerary.
