Day 1
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your coastal hotel (Mombasa, Diani, or Watamu). After a scenic drive through the Kenyan countryside, you’ll arrive at Tsavo East National Park, one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya. Entering through the Bachuma or Sala Gate (depending on your departure point), you'll immediately begin your first game drive en route to your lodge or camp. After check-in and lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the park’s vast open plains. Tsavo East is renowned for its red-dust elephants, man-eating lions, and the chance to spot animals like giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a wide variety of bird species. Return to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the wild. Mid-range lodge located inside Tsavo East NP Lunch & dinner (Breakfast not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 2
Spend a full day exploring Tsavo East with morning and afternoon game drives. In the early hours, wildlife is most active, increasing your chances of spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs, or leopards. The park’s arid terrain is dotted with iconic baobab trees and the seasonal Galana River, which often attracts animals to its banks. Midday, return to the lodge for lunch and a short rest, then venture out again for a sunset game drive. You may also visit notable sites such as Aruba Dam or Mudanda Rock, which offer great viewpoints for animal sightings. Mid-range lodge located inside Tsavo East NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 3
After an early breakfast, check out and enjoy a final game drive as you exit Tsavo East. Travel north-westward toward Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. The drive offers glimpses of rural Kenyan life and panoramic views of the landscape changing from dry plains to lush swamps. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive in Amboseli, famous for its large elephant herds, rich birdlife, and Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the background. On clear days, the mountain offers spectacular photo opportunities. Wildlife here also includes buffaloes, lions, wildebeests, hyenas, and gazelles. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Amboseli NP All meals included Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
Day 4
Enjoy a final morning drive in Amboseli, with a chance to see animals against the rising sun and, if lucky, a clear view of Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, exit the park and drive to nearby Tsavo West National Park via the Chyulu Gate. After lunch and a short rest at your lodge, embark on an afternoon game drive through Tsavo West’s varied landscape of volcanic hills, lava flows, and dense bush. A highlight of this park is a visit to Mzima Springs, where you can view hippos and fish through an underwater observation chamber. Keep an eye out for leopards, rhinos (in the Ngulia Sanctuary), and other game. The park’s rugged beauty and fewer crowds make it a unique part of the journey. Day 5
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive through Tsavo West, soaking in the early light and wildlife sightings. Exit the park and begin your return journey to the Kenyan coast, passing through the scenic countryside. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Mombasa, Diani, or Watamu in the late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of a thrilling 5-day safari adventure through some of Kenya’s most iconic national parks. We had a great time in Tsavo East, Tsavo West and Amboseli. The tour was well organized, with beautiful lodges (we loved Satao Camp and Severin Safari Camp), John was very helpful and also helped to organize a birthday surprise for a friend, Amos our tour guide was just awesome, he gave everything to make our tour unforgettable. We will definitely book our next safari in Kenya with Trav-Interactive again. Thank you for the great experience!

This was my first safari and I loved doing it with Trav Interactive! They were great value for money. Really glad we did the fly in and fly out. The camp that we originally wanted was booked and they gave us an upgrade for free. The guides on the safari were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. Highly recommend!
