Embrace the tranquillity of this desert region and unwind while taking in the endless views. In the late afternoon, an optional sundowner drive awaits – an experience not to be missed. Experience the Kalahari as the day draws to a close, with the setting sun casting a golden hue over the landscape. Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll gain insight into the fascinating nature and wildlife of the Kalahari. Alternatively, you can opt for a lie-in or participate in one of the morning lodge activities such as a scenic drive, a walk with Bushmen, or a horseback ride (all activities are optional). No matter how you decide to kick off your morning, a hearty breakfast will ensure you’re ready for whatever lies ahead. Later in the morning, your journey continues through Mariental and Maltahöhe towards Sesriem. Your destination for the day is the Elegant Desert Camp, acting as the hub for explorations to the vast star dunes of Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert. Take a moment to unwind at the pool or on your terrace, fully embracing the serenity of the surroundings. Dinner and overnight will take place at the Elegant Desert Camp. Thereafter you will continue to the Sesriem Canyon, formed by the Tsauchab River over millions of years. After an eventful morning, you return to the Elegant Desert Camp. Relax and enjoy your beautiful surroundings. When the day draws to a close, it is well worth to lean back and enjoy the view above you: Millions of stars, twinkling against the dark night sky. Afterwards, you visit the Damara Living Museum. You will learn more about the way of life of the Damara hundreds of years ago, learn about their craftmanship, their dances and their songs. You will spend most of your time game viewing around the waterholes where elephants, rhinos, giraffes and different species of antelope come to drink. With a bit of luck, you might even be able to spot lions and leopards. After many exciting sightings, you leave Etosha in the late afternoon at the Anderson Gate and after only a few minutes, you reach your home for the night, Etosha Village. You drive along the vast salt pan that covers almost a quarter of the entire park and is Etosha’s most distinctive and dramatic feature. At the various waterholes along the way, more exciting wildlife encounters await. In the evening you exit the park at the Von Lindequist Gate and make your way to the Mushara Bush Camp where you will overnight in a permanent luxury tent with en-suite bathroom. Mid-range tented camp located just outside Etosha NP Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included

You can look out for animals you might not have seen over the past days – every day on safari is different and full of surprises. It is now time to leave the Etosha region and your journey takes you further south. The Waterberg and its steep, red cliffs will be visible from afar. At the foot of the Small Waterberg Mountain lies your accommodation, the Waterberg Guest Farm. Depending on your arrival time, you can go on a hike and explore the beautiful surroundings, or make yourself comfortable by the pool, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. Those who have all the souvenirs they need can take a seat at the nearby café and watch as the Windhoek locals go about their business. 5.0/5This was my fourth safari, and my favorite one. From day one, Christelle and Gondwana proved invaluable. She was responsive, professional, yet incredibly personable and genuine. She had granular knowledge and opinions on each safari destination and accommodation, and took thoughtful care to engineer the perfect safari for my fiancé and I. The attention to detail was second to none. It was abundantly clear that she listened and understood our personalities and our safari ambitions. On a personal note, she was instrumental in helping me propose to my fiancé on this trip. Sparing the details - it was a personal and intimate moment, and it would have been impossible without her connections and acumen on/in the region. She subsequently went to grand efforts to make sure that we felt loved and recognized on this trip through various incredibly thoughtful actions. Every trip with Christelle will be unique and I have already been recommending Gondwana and Christelle to my friends and family.

This was my first safari, and everything down to the tiniest detail was amazing. Christelle and Gondwana Tours did the best job at creating a unique and personalized trip for us. There was no need to worry about anything - they were attentive and exceeded at fulfilling our wants. It was a vacation of a lifetime. Our 6 night safari started in Victoria Falls, passed through Chobe, and ended in the Okavango Delta. I'm not used to having so much help with planning and coordinating a trip, and it was such a treat to have everything taken cared of. We were afraid that it could be touristy or cookie cutter, and it ended up being the most thoughtful trip we've ever taken. I cannot recommend Christelle and Gondwana Tours enough.

Steffi Presske and her team from Gondwana tours and safaris planned a magical honeymoon trip for us. We started of visiting the Victoria Falls, continued to Chobe National Park, then two different camps in the Okavango Delta and ended the trip with a few days at the beach in Mozambique. The organization was perfect, Steffi took all our special wishes/ ideas into account, she was always good to reach (through email, the German landline or even via Skype or WhatsApp). The route and the hotels/ lodges/ Camps were chosen very well, and we were especially amazed by the camps in the delta. The assistance was very good and we can just recommend booking a trip with Gondwana. It was a great trip :)

Gondwana Tours & Safaris organized us the trip of a lifetime. We were allowed to fulfill our dream and make a round trip through Tanzania including safari and Zanzibar. The organization of Gondwana, especially by dear Mrs. Steffi Presske, made our trip something very special. Steffi responded to every small adjustment request and always had a suitable solution ready. She always took time for us and was available to us 24/7 during the trip. The choice of accommodations and the on-site safari company in Tanzania were without exception excellent. Our expectations were not only 100% met but exceeded several times. Thank you Gondwana for these great experiences. If we come back it will be with Gondwana Tours & Safari. (automatic translation from German)
