Overview
Perched on the banks of a waterhole in the magnificent Sabi Sand Game Reserve is the luxurious Arathusa Safari Lodge. The beautifully decorated luxury rooms include lovely en-suite bathrooms (with baths, indoor and alfresco showers), air-conditioning, private verandas and sweeping views of the glassy waterhole. There are nine water-facing suites and four bush-facing suites.

Day 1
Hoedspruit to Sabi Sand Game Reserve
Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met for your road transfer to Arathusa Safari Lodge in the Sabi Sand Private Nature Reserve. Once you arrive at the lodge, check-in, settle in, and enjoy high tea before setting out on your first afternoon game drive to begin your search for the animals, including the Big Five. Transfers from other airports, such as Nelspruit, Phalaborwa and Johannesburg, can also be arranged at an additional cost. Day 2
Sabi Sand Game Reserve
The morning game drive starts at sunrise. You will wake up before dawn for tea and coffee before the game drive starts. Then, you are off for 3 hours to find as many animals as possible before they all find trees to hide under in the heat of the day. When the game drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a delicious hot breakfast and have time to relax. You can sit by the pool, read a book, take a nap and absorb being out in the bush. If you prefer an activity-filled day, guided bush walks are on offer. After high tea, the afternoon game drive will start around 3:30–4:00 PM. It will last for +-3 hours, with a stop somewhere for sundowners. You will return to the lodge in the dark, with a spotlight to look for nocturnal animals. Day 4
Sabi Sand Game Reserve to Hoedspruit
After your final morning game drive to look for the last remaining animals that have eluded you, enjoy a warm breakfast and depart the lodge for your road transfer to Hoedspruit Airport, where your safari comes to an end. We will happily help with any add-ons, such as the Garden Route, Cape Town, Victoria Falls and more. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinking water (Other drinks not included)
