You'll be collected from the airport. Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.
Day 1
Hoedspruit to Timbavati Nature Reserve
Upon arrival at Hoedspruit Airport, you will be met for your road transfer to Kambaku Safari Lodge in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. Once you arrive at the lodge, check-in, before setting out on your first afternoon game drive to begin your search for the animals, including the Big Five. Transfer time: ~50 minutes *Stay a 4th night FREE and only pay for park fees valid June & November 2026 & 2027 & 15 January - 15 March 2027. Day 2
Timbavati Nature Reserve
The morning game drive starts at sunrise. You will wake up before dawn for tea and coffee before the game drive starts. Then, you are off for 3 hours to find as many animals as possible before they all find trees to hide under in the heat of the day. When the game drive returns to the lodge, you will be served a delicious hot breakfast and have time to relax. You can sit by the pool, read a book, take a nap and absorb being out in the bush. If you prefer an activity-filled day, guided bush walks are on offer. After high tea, the afternoon game drive will start and then you will return to the lodge for dinner. Timbavati Nature Reserve to Hoedspruit
After your final morning game drive, enjoy a warm breakfast and depart the lodge for your road transfer to Hoedspruit Airport. We will happily help with any add-on travel arrangements within Africa, such as the Garden Route, Cape Town, Victoria Falls, and more. Transfer time: ~50 minutes.
