Gambella is a town in the Gambella Region of southwestern Ethiopia, near the borders with South Sudan. It serves as the capital of the Gambella Region and is situated along the Baro River, which is part of the Nile Basin. The Bar River, which flows through the town, offers scenic views and opportunities for boat rides. Gambella town serves as a gateway to exploring the natural beauty and cultural diversity of the Gambella Region, making it a unique destination in Ethiopia. Boat Trip on Baro River, Safari in Gambella NP and visiting indigineous Communities
On the 2nd of tour, visitors will have the opportunity to spot hippos and crocodiles on the Baro River by boat ride. The Baro River offers opportunities for boat trips, birdwatching, and experiencing the traditional cultures of the the Gambella Region. The town of Gambella, which lies on the banks of the Baro River, serves as the main access point for tourists interested in exploring the river and surrounding areas. Starting from day 3, visitors will continue exploring Gambella NP, Spotting wildlife and immersing themselves in nature walks and hikes guided by experienced local tour guide. In the early morning of day 4, visitors will continue exploring the park for spotting more wildlife species enjoying the stunning scenic view of the park. In the afternoon, they will have more time to visit the indigenous tribes of Nuer and Anuak, the two prominent ethnic groups in the Gambella region of Southwestern Ethiopia and in South Sudan.
