Day 1
Kruger National Park
Your journey begins with a scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. On landing, you will be warmly greeted for a private transfer to Lukimbi Safari Lodge in the famous Kruger National Park—roughly 1h 55 min drive away, where you will spend the following two nights. You will arrive at the lodge, and take some time to settle in before an afternoon game drive. Lukimbi is situated in the game-rich, southern section of the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Bounded by 3 major river systems, the extensive 15 000 hectare area offers a diverse array of habitats. The vast grasslands dominate the northern portion, whereas the southern and central areas are more heavily wooded and interspersed with lush riverine thickets. Relaxation can be spent lazing around the pool or indulging in one of the many spa treatments the on-sight spa has to offer. Day 3
Sabi Sand Game Reserve
You will enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast. You will then be transferred to the airport for your short flight to the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. You will arrive at Idube Game Reserve, situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, in the heart of South Africa’s premier wildlife conservation area of the Greater Kruger Park. Game, including the Big Five, is viewed really close by from open Landrovers, or spotted on guided walks. The experienced rangers and trackers are trained to give guests the best possible wildlife experience. You will head out on morning and afternoon game drives, animal sightings are professionally handled and controlled. Drives are normally 3-4 hours long, with a stop along the way for tea, coffee or sundowners. Idube is particularly well known for the frequent and excellent sightings of leopards. An optional morning guided walk is offered or you may choose to relax around the pool or indulge in a spa treatment in the privacy of your own room. You will have a morning game drive followed by breakfast which will be a perfect ending to your extraordinary Kruger Park and Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve adventure. Shann organized our six night trip end to end. All we had to do is be where we were supposed to be. The Shalati Bridge Train Hotel is a must stay if you are doing a safari in Kruger National Park. We stayed at the Waterfalls Lodge in Victoria Falls, the accomodations were just fine, but nothing special. The staff was outstanding. We highly recommend Shann and Safari.com for your vacation planning. They are outstanding!

Excellent hospitality
Hoyo Hoyo safari lodge has exceptional hospitality and the staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and aim to please! The experience was amazing and trip of a lifetime. The rooms are as seen on website! So cool! The only negative I have to say is the smell in the rooms (musty smell) needs to be addressed! I’m not sure if it’s due to all the rain recently or if that is the way they are due to the bamboo walls!
