Day 1
Today your safari adventure begins! Your transfer will pick you up from the airport and bring you to Kruger, where we are ready and waiting to start your safari and share our passion. Kruger is a wildlife heaven with more than 140 different mammals, over 500 birds species and more than 120 different reptiles. We will stop in town for an own expense lunch before we enter Kruger at the Phalaborwa Gate. We will then take a slow drive through the park towards our first camp, Letaba. We will arrive at Letaba at around 5:00 pm, check in, offload the vehicle, settle in, relax and watch the sunset by the Letaba River. At Letaba, there is a park shop with souvenirs and gifts, a swimming pool, restaurant and The Great Elephant Hall, a museum dedicated to the biggest elephants in the history of Kruger National Park. Tonight we will prepare and enjoy a traditional South African dinner cooked over an open fire, then relax and delight in the sounds of the African bush. Mid-range rest camp located inside Northern Kruger NP Dinner (Breakfast & lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 2
Early this morning, we will go out on a short sunrise drive along the Letaba River. This time we will follow the river to the east. We will return to camp for a hearty breakfast after which we pack up and head further south on our way to our next camp, Satara. When we arrive at Satara, we will check in and prepare lunch, then there is time to relax before we head out on an afternoon drive in the area. It is an excellent area for viewing wildlife and there is a waterhole just outside the camp where you can spot animals whilst at camp. We will be staying at Satara for one night and you will be staying in traditional round thatched African huts called Rondawel. Tonight's dinner is at your own expense at the camp restaurant and then you will go on a night drive in search of some of the nocturnal animals and hopefully get to see some of the big cats on the hunt. Please note that this night drive is shared by other guests in the park and is with a trained Kruger ranger. Mid-range rest camp located inside Central Kruger NP Breakfast & lunch (Dinner not included) Drinks not included
Day 3
Waking up before the sun, we will have a quick coffee and rusks and head out to explore the surrounding areas of Satara. We will search all the well-known areas for another chance to spot a member of the "Big Five" and stop at a picnic site to have breakfast. Continuing on, we will be on the lookout for anything that moves and slowly make our way back to camp where you will have some time to rest before lunch. You might like to cool down in the swimming pool or you may use the time to buy some gifts for yourself or your loved ones back home at the curio shops inside the camp. This afternoon, we will go out for one last sunset drive to look for just a little more of what the African bush has to offer and round off what would be your ultimate Kruger safari. Coming back to the camp, we will enjoy yet another perfect African sunset next to the camp fire and feast on a delicious bush-cooked meal and talk about our awesome bush experience. Mid-range rest camp located inside Central Kruger NP All meals included Drinks not included
Day 4
After breakfast, we'll pack up and head towards the exit gates of Kruger. First, travel along the Drakensberg escarpment before we start to ascend it. Our first stop will be at one of the viewpoints overlooking the Lowveld from the Highveld at the Blyde River Canyon. There we will have a bird’s eye view of the Lowveld we’ve been exploring for the past few days before we head to a very old mining town called “Pilgrims Rest”. Pilgrims Rest has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of the town`s cultural importance and the town seems to be frozen in time. From here we'll head towards Graskop, a small town where we'll have lunch. After lunch, we'll head over to God’s Window, a view that is so beautiful that it is believed to be God`s window to see earth. Here we'll get a true glimpse of how earth appears from the clouds and the view is simply breathtaking! Tonight we'll be sleeping in a resort at the Blyde River Canyon and enjoy the facilities they have to offer. Mid-range chalet located inside Blyde River Canyon (Panorama Route) Breakfast & dinner (Lunch not included) Drinks not included
Day 5
After a relaxed morning, we can go up to the lookout point or a short hike before leaving Blyde Canyon behind. Your transfer back to Johannesburg leaves at 10:45 am. You will be back at OR Tambo at around 5:00 pm in the afternoon. Breakfast (Lunch & dinner not included) Drinks not included

At the beginning of November, we went on a three-day private safari with overnight stays at Skukuza Camp in Kruger National Park. The entire organisation and handling with Thale in advance was perfect, and we also received tips on how best to continue our journey in South Africa after the safari. We received an absolutely all-inclusive package. A transfer service in Johannesburg took us from the airport to Hazyview. There we met our guide Eric and the cook Keygi. We liked them both right from the start and they made us feel that we didn't have to worry or take care of anything. And that's exactly how the next few days went. We were treated to incredibly delicious food and saw fantastic wildlife in the park. Eric has been doing this for almost 20 years and was able to answer all our questions. We saw the Big Five within 1.5 days and much more. Wild Planet Safari offers an unforgettable experience with its all-inclusive service (transfer, accommodation, game drives and shared meals). We were able to concentrate fully on the animals and nature as we didn't have to worry about anything else. We can only recommend everyone to book a private safari here. If we ever get the chance to visit this beautiful place again, we will definitely book with Wild Planet Safari again. Many thanks to the entire Team.

We booked a 4-day safari with Wild Planet, and Eric made it the most wonderful experience. He was a great safari guide, the best cook and we appreciated the time with him very much. He gave us so many great moments and a lot of infomation; we saw the magnificent seven and are just so grateful. After such intense and wonderful days together, it was really hard to say goodbye. But we will come back, and in the meantime, we will recommend Wild Planet Safari (with Eric) to all our friends. Thank you so much for this incredible experience, Eric. We are glad to have met you.

We had a wonderful time touring Kruger National Park with Wild Planet Safari. We did an extended north to south tour and our guides, Eric and Ryan were great. Hope was our cook and his meals were wonderful! Thale took care of all the administrative details and was wonderful to work with. We hope to be able to do this again in the future!
