Day 1
Victoria Falls
Upon arrival you will be met by our Africa Zim Travel representative who will drive you to the Nguni Lodge where you will check-in and enjoy lunch. After lunch you will embark on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi with the finest vantage point to watch hippo, crocodile and other animals which come down to the river’s edge in the early evening. You can enjoy a cocktail and snacks as you enjoy the African sunset cruise. After the cruise you will be taken back to your hotel for dinner and your overnight stay. Day 2
Victoria Falls
After breakfast you will begin your tour of Victoria Falls; starting on the Zimbabwean side where there are numerous spectacular vantage points along the width of the falls. You will walk through the misty rainforest which flanks the Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls, the Boiling Pot, Cataract Island and Livingstone Island. Victoria Falls are Zimbabwe's most famous attraction; named by the locals as the “Smoke that Thunders”. These falls are the largest and probably the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. The optional activities offered today include a helicopter flight, lion walk and elephant ride. Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Day 3
Victoria Falls - Hwange National Park
This day you will be transferred by road to Hwange National Park, a 3 hour drive south of Victoria Falls. Hwange National Park, the biggest national park of Zimbabwe, is another exceptional attraction in Africa that is packed full of animal species to see. You will arrive in the afternoon and enjoy an exciting game drive as you make your way to your accommodations. Later in the evening you will arrive at the Miombo Safari Camp where you will check-in, have dinner and spend the rest of the evening around a roaring campfire before you turn in for the night. Day 4
Hwange National Park
You will rise very early for a morning game drive in the main park. The early morning is the time of day where you will view the wildlife at their most active. You will also experience the breathtaking African sunrise as you make your way back to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast you will have some time to relax. After lunch you will enjoy another game drive until sunset. In the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. Hwange National Park - Victoria Falls Airport
After an early breakfast, you will check-out and have the choice of an optional visit the Painted Dog Conservation Center. You can visit the center and then be driven to the Victoria Falls Airport for your flight home or go directly to the airport. This is where your safari will end. Perfect organized tour for two persons to see wild animals and beautifull landscapes
We felt well advised by africa zim travel&tours even before booking. The whole tour went wonderfully. Times and agreements were honoured and our expectations of what we wanted to see were always met or exceeded. Mtho, our driver and sometimes guide, told us a lot about the countries, people and animals and had the patience to tell us the same thing sometimes four times if we didn't understand it or had already forgotten it. He always spread a good mood with his manner. He drove us safely over the sometimes bumpy and dusty roads. The selected hotels, rooms and meals were consistently good to luxurious. Overall, it was a varied and exciting trip and well worth the price.
