Day 1
Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Upon arrival at JKIA, you will be warmly received by your professional safari guide and briefed before beginning your journey to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through the scenic Great Rift Valley with breathtaking viewpoints and rolling countryside landscapes that gradually transition into open savannah. You will arrive in time for lunch at your luxury camp or lodge, where comfort blends seamlessly with the wild surroundings. After some relaxation, you will head out for an afternoon game drive, introducing you to the Mara’s abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, and vast herds of antelope roaming freely across the plains. Masai Mara National Reserve (Full Experience)
This day is dedicated to a full immersion in the rich ecosystem of the Masai Mara National Reserve, offering one of Africa’s finest wildlife-viewing experiences. After an early breakfast, you will depart with a packed picnic lunch for an extended game drive across the expansive plains, home to the Big Five and an incredible concentration of wildlife. You will explore different regions of the reserve, including riverine areas where hippos and crocodiles thrive, as well as open grasslands dotted with acacia trees where predators are often spotted. The Mara is also famous for its dramatic landscapes and seasonal migrations, providing endless photographic opportunities. Enjoy your lunch in the bush surrounded by nature before continuing your exploration, returning to the lodge in the evening for relaxation, fine dining, and an overnight stay. Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will check out and begin your journey towards Lake Nakuru National Park, traveling through scenic highlands and local towns that offer a glimpse into Kenya’s vibrant culture. Arriving in time for lunch at your luxury lodge, you will later embark on an afternoon game drive in this compact yet incredibly diverse park. Lake Nakuru is renowned for its population of rhinos, both black and white, as well as Rothschild's giraffes and tree-climbing lions. The lake itself often shimmers with flamingos and other birdlife, creating a stunning contrast against the surrounding woodlands and cliffs. The park’s varied habitats — from forests to grasslands — ensure a unique safari experience before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Lake Nakuru – Hell's Gate National Park
Following breakfast, you will check out and proceed to Hell's Gate National Park, a destination famed for its dramatic landscapes and unique activities. Upon arrival and lunch at your lodge near Lake Naivasha, you will head into the park for an adventurous afternoon. Unlike most parks, Hell’s Gate allows for guided walking or cycling safaris, offering a more intimate connection with nature as you pass towering cliffs, deep gorges, and geothermal features. Wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes roam freely without predators, making exploration both safe and exciting. We had an unforgettable safari experience in Kenya, visiting Amboseli, Tsavo East and Tsavo West. Our driver, Cina, is truly the absolute number one! With his 21 years of experience, you can immediately see that he knows every single corner of these parks. He took us to incredible places and gave us the chance to see lions early in the morning – twice we were the very first car in the park to spot them, before anyone else arrived. The lodges were very nice – not top luxury, but still comfortable and charming. The agency handled things fairly well overall, although we were asked to make part of the payment in cash: an initial deposit with bank transfer/credit card, and then quite a big amount we had to withdraw in cash for the balance. Apart from this, everything went smoothly. This safari was a fantastic, once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I especially want to thank Cina, our driver – without him, it wouldn’t have been the same. Truly the best!
