Here, you can partake in various activities, including scenic drives, quad biking, and nature walks. As night falls, savor a delectable dinner under the vast African night sky, immersing yourself in the tranquility of this extraordinary setting. The following morning, traverse the Namib Desert where you'll encounter giants like Dune 45 and Big Daddy Dune. Marvel at the breathtaking vistas of Sossusvlei and explore the haunting beauty of Deadvlei with its ancient trees, before experiencing the coolness of Sesriem Canyon. Strand Hotel Swakopmund, located by the ocean, offers not only luxurious accommodations but also a variety of excellent restaurants and bars. Take a stroll through the town's streets to admire its intriguing architecture and enjoy a walk along the pier before indulging in a delicious dinner. During your stay, prepare for exhilarating experiences, including a thrilling quad bike ride through the dunes and exciting catamaran cruises in Walvis Bay. Witness the playful seals and majestic pelicans, and with luck, you might even spot dolphins while sipping sparkling wine and savoring locally farmed oysters. Afterward, embark on a 4x4 tour, where the clash of the ocean and desert leads you to a lagoon and bird sanctuary called Sandwich Harbour. Our trip to Botswana and Zimbabwe was already our second trip with Southbound tours and it won’t be our last. Marco really listens to your expectations and exceeds them. He makes your trip worry-free. We look forward travelling with Southbound tours again!
Axelle · Belgium
I came into contact with Marco through his services as a pilot. He was very helpfull regarding a trip through Namibia, and I ended up booking my entire trip with Southbound Tours. Marco provided excellent service throughout the entire trip. He took care of every detail including booking activities. Our trip was in July 2021 but Marco was able to care of any Covid and non- Covid related issues. He has an extensive knowledge and network of local guides, lodges and hotels. Marco provides excellent communication and documentation. His service is not only very reliable but he goes the extra mile to make your trip unforgettable. I did not hesitate to book a second trip to Botswana, Zimbabwe, part of Namibia and South Africa last november 2023. The service of Southbound Tours was again top notch !
